Miami Swim Week The Shows started their four-day event with presentations from notable designers, including Mars The Label, Elle® Resortwear Collection, Lascana, Salty Mermaid, Normal Culture, Kene Kaya, Ema Savahl, Liberty and Justice, Carukia Swim, 11 Threads Roma, Hermine Swim, CYAR Swim, Kita May Designs, Scalipa, Andrea Venturoli, Ken Kaya, Younique, Omray Swimwear, Beach Club, Haitian Doll by Jo Bella, and SAINT CLAIR. Miami Swim Week The Shows was all about daring and fearless designs. The eye-catching swimwear featured intricate details and captivating statement pieces.

One of the most memorable moments was when model and influencer Tika Camaj graced the runway in a captivating lace one-piece. Adding to the excitement, Katharina Mazepa, the newly engaged partner of Lenny Hochstein, the ex-husband of The Real Housewives of Miami’s Lisa Hochstein, made a statement on the catwalk in a stunning crocodile-textured silver metallic bikini by Ema Savahl Couture. Notable personalities in attendance included Maria Georgas from Bachelor Nation, who looked radiant in a vintage deep-V, ethereal mini dress adorned with delicate layers of tulle.

Throughout the week, the shows featured a variety of themes, including vibrant pastel hues, bold colors, cutouts, intricate details, hair crowns, and accessories. Notable African-made resort and swimwear label Liberty and Justice showcased pastel pink and blue tones that exuded femininity. The models were adorned with flower crowns and headwear, adding to the show’s atmosphere.

Lili Creation, Carukia Swim, Threads Roma, and Hermine Swim Carukia Swim showcased low-cut, high-neck one-pieces embellished with chunky diamonds and dark-toned sequins, infusing a sense of allure into the designs. The mermaid-like fluorescent and royal blue patterns captured the spotlight, paired with sheer fishnet bandeau bikinis for a stunning ensemble.

The JO Bella collection from Haitian Doll mesmerized the audience with its vibrant, iridescent purples, pinks and greens. The designs showcased intricate details, including cutout one-pieces embellished with rings down the middle and low-cut one-pieces, creating a striking and colorful statement on the runway.

Miami Swim Week The Shows continued to delight attendees with a packed schedule of must-see runway shows, parties and fashion events. The weekend focused on metallic shades, nudes, earthy tones, captivating cutouts and bold accessories.

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.
