Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami Return to MANA Wynwood Convention Center for Miami Art Week

Two of the longest-running shows during Miami Art Week will return to MANA Wynwood Convention Center in December. Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami will combine for “Two Fairs Under One Roof,” featuring art exhibits and displays during Miami Art Week from Dec. 1 to 5. The fairs will cover more than 100,000 square feet of indoor exhibition, all within walking distance of Wynwood’s trendiest restaurants, bars and retail boutiques.

“We’re excited to be back to live in-person events after such a long pause and thrilled to be at Mana Wynwood again for Miami Art Week,” says Eric Smith, president of Redwood Art Group. “The last two years have been extremely challenging for everyone. We’re pleased to have survived and able to bring collectors and artists and galleries together again. The newly reconfigured space at Mana Wynwood offers us a renewed opportunity to offer an esthetically pleasing environment for showcasing the best the contemporary art world has to offer. Exhibitors and attendees alike can look forward to an unprecedented level of luxury over the five days. We’re very excited to unveil the new look and welcome everyone back to Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami.”

Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami offer a fine art experience from some of today’s most coveted national and international galleries and artists from the U.S and worldwide. Redwood Media Group produces the two art shows housed in one location as the only multi-show production of its kind during Miami Art Week.

Now in its 11th year, Spectrum Miami features an upscale and urban curated contemporary art fair. It will highlight the thriving art landscape of Miami by showcasing independent career artists, studios and younger galleries. The five-day show celebrates the fine art experience with music and entertainment. It is expected to attract more than 35,000 visitors and high-end collectors.

Red Dot Miami is a curated gallery-only contemporary art fair in its 16th year. The exhibit will showcase galleries from around the world that present artists who focus on human nature to delve into what art reveals about you. It will feature more than 65 galleries representing over 500 leading contemporary artists from primary and secondary markets worldwide. A full programming schedule for both shows will be announced in November.

The Opening Night Preview for Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami will occur from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. Tickets for the Opening Night Preview are $50 in advance or $75 beginning Dec. 1. A General Admission one-day pass for Spectrum Miami and Red Dot Miami is $25 in advance or $35 beginning Dec. 1. A five-day pass that includes the Opening Night Preview is $75 in advance or $100 starting Dec. 1.

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.
