Emerge Broward is excited to announce its annual professional development event, An independent 501(c)3 organization, Emerge Broward is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of young professionals, ages 21 to 35, by promoting leadership and personal development An independent 501(c)3 organization, Emerge Broward is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of young professionals, ages 21 to 35, by promoting leadership and personal development, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Main Las Olas (201 East Las Olas Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale). This year’s event will feature a keynote presentation by Matthew Caldwell, President/CEO and Alternate Governor of the Florida Panthers.

“Leadership Launch is one of Emerge Broward’s most impactful annual events, offering our members a dynamic, conference-style program focused on professional growth,” said Maggie Gunther, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance and Emerge Broward’s Board President. “Designed to equip emerging leaders with the tools, connections, and insights needed to excel in their careers and communities, this event promises an inspiring day of learning and networking. With Matthew Caldwell as our keynote speaker, our members will gain valuable leadership perspectives from one of the most accomplished executives in professional sports.”

This interactive leadership development workshop, presented by UKG, is Emerge Broward’s signature event, offering attendees engaging sessions designed to enhance leadership skills and networking opportunities to build connections with like-minded professionals and community leaders.

Attendees will hear compelling insights from Matthew Caldwell on effective leadership and team-building strategies. Caldwell, a U.S. Army veteran and former Vice President at Goldman Sachs, joined the Florida Panthers as Chief Operating Officer in 2014. At age 36, he became the youngest CEO in U.S. professional sports. Under his leadership, the Panthers have achieved significant milestones, including their first Stanley Cup victory in the franchise\’s 30-year history during the 2023-24 season. Caldwell’s keynote, titled “Building a Winning Team” will draw from his extensive experience in leadership and team development.

Lunch will be provided during the event. Following the program, there will be an optional social gathering for attendees to further network and discuss insights from the day\’s sessions.
