SUMMARY:Comedian Funny Marco Live In Naples\, Florida!
DESCRIPTION:Not because of Def Comedy Jam or sold out international shows\, but from pure talent conceptualized\, produced and marketed all on social media. Comments flood the internet with questions like have you seen FM Walmart videos?” and fans with excitement saying: “girl\, I can watch him all day! This isn’t because of a big-budget marketing play – it’s due to the power of Marco. With a massive audience of 10M fans across all social media platforms\, Funny Marco is redefining the entertainment landscape. And landing brand deals with Spotify\, BET\, and Footaction is just the beginning for the 28-year-old social legend.\nWhen Rihanna followed actor and comedian Funny Marco on Instagram – it was immediately up! The social-defining moment changed the landscape of possibilities. The Kansas City\, MO native was born to entertain. Growing up on Section 8 and with his father’s hustle\, Funny Marco wanted more\nthan the life he’d been presented. Using the talent his dad instilled in him\, he rose to the occasion and began to be inspired by the Black culture that surrounded him. He witnessed brilliant comedic relief while at home and was glued to the in-your-face\, unapologetically Blackness of Dave Chappell.\nHe captured a variety of ways to entertain through film\, television and sketch shows. Those very moments made him want to pursue comedy for the rest of his life. Because of a refreshing DM from an avid supporter\, Marco switched gears and decided to move his dreams to Atlanta. \nDate and Time: Fri\, 28 Aug 2026 19:00 – Sat\, 29 Aug 2026 22:00 \nVenue details: Off The Hook Comedy Club\, 2500 Vanderbilt Beach Road\, Naples\, Florida\, 34109\, United States \nCategory: Arts | Performing Arts | Comedy \nPrices:\nGeneral Admission: USD 30.00\,\nVIP Admission: USD 40.00 \nArtist: Funny Marco

SUMMARY:Rally for Gulf Wildlife
DESCRIPTION:Over the last 50 years\, the Endangered Species Act (ESA) has protected more than 20 species living in the Gulf of Mexico. Gulf sturgeon\, Nassau grouper\, oceanic white-tip sharks\, and smalltooth sawfish still swim in the Gulf of Mexico today because of the ESA. These species\, and more\, need us to use our voices to defend marine life and protect Gulf ecosystems. \nUnfortunately\, on March 31\, 2026\, a government committee met and decided that the potential extinction of these 20 Gulf species is a fair price to pay to expand the offshore oil and gas industry. Meanwhile\, hundreds of this year\’s sea turtle hatchlings have run the perilous race from eggshell to waters edge only to swim out into the Gulf where they are not protected in the face of industry. \nESA protections exist for species like rough cactus corals\, that don’t have the ability to relocate when their habitat becomes harmful or unsafe for them; for species like Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles and loggerhead turtles who come to the Gulf to lay their eggs in our sandy shores; for species like the 51 Rice’s whales and 1\,600 sperm whales who live only in the Gulf of Mexico; and for manatees and queen conchs who need suitable habitat for them to grow up and become icons of the Gulf of Mexico itself. \nRemoving ESA protections for these species is condemning these species to potential extinction. And if this decision stands\, it won’t stop in the Gulf. It will open the door to overturning protections for nature anywhere. \nWe can’t let that happen. Join us to stand up for the ocean’s marine life and demand Congress pass the Protect Gulf Life Act and use every oversight tool available to restore Endangered Species Act protections from offshore drilling for Gulf species. \nURL:\nWebsite: https://go.evvnt.com/3757074-0?pid=12123 \nDate and Time: On Saturday August 29\, 2026 at 09:00 – 11:00 \nVenue details: Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square\, 420 Wall Street\, Key West\, Florida\, 33040\, United States \nCategory: Community | Local / Community
