Airshare Enters South Florida’s Private Jet Market With 54 Aircraft

It’s a tough market to crack, but NFL champ Patrick Mahomes is on board.

Airshare, one of the fastest-growing private aviation companies in the nation, announced today its expansion to the South Florida region. The move will allow Airshare to bring its customizable private aviation programs to the area, which continues to experience a high demand for these services. Airshare will offer fractional ownership programs, jet cards, aircraft management and charter services to customers in the region. Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes is a client.

“Airshare fits the way South Florida flies,” says John Owen, president and CEO of Airshare. “Strategically, we have been setting the stage for expansion into this region for the last couple years. We recognize the unique needs of business and leisure travelers here and will deliver flexible private travel experiences, while consistently providing best-in-class service.”

South Florida and the East Coast have been on the company’s radar in recent years. The addition of the Challenger 350 super-midsize aircraft to Airshare’s fractional fleet was a catalyst for the move, as this aircraft can fly up to ten passengers and provide coast-to-coast flight capabilities. The best-selling business jet in its class, the Challenger 350 also will be appealing to South Florida travelers who frequently fly to the Northeast, including New York City.

Airshare currently operates 54 aircraft in its fleet, featuring both the Challenger 350 and Phenom 300 in its fractional ownership programs, while also managing a broad range of aircraft from turboprops to large cabin jets. Fractional clients can fly up to double the number of hours in the same size share in comparison to its competition in the region. The company will immediately begin sales in Naples, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami, with its footprint extending into Orlando, Tampa/St. Petersburg and Jacksonville.
