Paula’s Food Diaries Launches at Burlock Coast in Fort Lauderdale

Running through November, Chef Paula DaSilva will showcase a selection of popular dishes from famous chefs.

Beginning Sept. 16 and running through Nov. 15, Guests at Burlock Coast Seafare & Spirits can relish a unique experience by savoring the culinary masterpieces crafted by four of the biggest names in the food industry. A waterfront restaurant within The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale, Burlock Coast will feature an exciting initiative called Paula’s Food Diaries, led by the resort’s Director of Culinary and Beverage, chef Paula DaSilva. It will showcase a series of dishes crafted by four renowned chefs she deeply admires. The featured dishes will be available on the menu for two weeks each, allowing diners to enjoy these culinary talents’ diverse flavors and styles.

Burlock Coast Seafare & Spirits guests can expect an exceptional culinary experience with Paula’s Food Diaries, featuring four renowned chefs and their signature dishes. Emeril Lagasse’s New Orleans-style Barbecue Shrimp ($38) will be the first dish available from Sept. 16 to 30, followed by Cat Cora’s Braised Short Ribs ($42) with Potato Puree, Asparagus Salsa Verde and Charred Artichoke Hearts from Oct. 1 to 15. Alon Shaya’s Whole Roasted Cauliflower ($14) will be available from Oct. 16 to 31, celebrating the chef’s Israeli heritage. Last but not least, chef Stephanie Izard’s Grilled Branzino ($48) with spicy Chili Crunch will be served from Nov. 1 to 15. Diners will be treated to diverse flavors, techniques, and presentations that reflect the chefs’ innovative use of ingredients.

“This project is a labor of love and admiration for my fellow chefs,” DaSilva says. “It’s a way for me to pay tribute to those who have inspired me throughout my journey and to share their culinary artistry with our cherished guests.”

Burlock Coast is at The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale, at 1 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. The marketplace is open daily from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Breakfast is served daily from 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Lunch is served daily from 11:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Dinner is served daily from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. Weekend brunch is served from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. Telephone: (954) 302-6460.
