Aida Sanchez-Gomez has more than 20 years of experience that includes a wide range of exceptional projects, from master planning, mixed-use residential, education, institutional, aviation/transportation, cultural arts, and government facilities. Her project experience includes the Adrienne Arsht Performing Art Center, Camillus House and NASA UNO. Aida brings a broad skill set and multidisciplinary perspective to each project. Currently, Aida and her team are working on several high-profile residential buildings throughout South Florida, as well as projects at Miami International Airport. As a principal and senior architect in Stantec’s Miami office, Aida relies on her creative problem-solving skills to satisfy her client’s goals while respecting the project’s social and urban context. Aida is known for her leadership qualities and collaborative approach. She values open communication and teamwork, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Aida’s commitment to staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies reflects her dedication to continuous learning and advancement. With a deep-rooted passion for sustainable design, Aida has actively contributed to projects that prioritize environmental responsibility. Her commitment to creating spaces that not only meet the functional needs of users but also contribute positively to the surrounding environment sets her apart as a forward-thinking architect. She is a member of the AIA, U.S. Green Building Council, and sits on the Small Business Enterprise Advisory Board for Miami-Dade County. Aida is a registered architect and earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Minor in Business from the University of Miami.
