Lisa E. Ireland is president and CEO of the Miami-based Longevity Science Foundation (LSF), an international nonprofit funding research to expand the healthy human lifespan. An accomplished nonprofit executive with more than 25 years of experience in administration, fundraising, donor engagement, strategy, and finance, she leads the global operations for the LSF. In her role, Ireland prioritizes increasing public awareness, engaging new stakeholders, and expanding the community of advocates and supporters for aging science. Recognizing the importance of information accessibility, she frequently speaks at conferences and events across the U.S. and internationally to connect with diverse audiences. Her public engagements include the February 2024 keynote address at the U.S. Library of Congress on the intersection of neural health and longevity, talks at top-tier institutions such as King’s College London and the University of Oxford, and other initiatives aimed at mobilizing greater support for healthy longevity research. Ireland serves as an advisory board member for the Canandaigua National Bank and Trust, which is the only local, full-service, community-owned financial institution in the Rochester area, and as the development committee chair of Miss Julie’s School of Beauty’s board, which is a nonprofit cosmetology school that empowers survivors of human trafficking through vocational training.
