Biana Murnane is president and CEO of BrightStar Credit Union, one of South Florida’s largest, fastest growing and most innovative financial institutions. A seasoned leader in financial services with over 25 years of experience, Murnane has been a catalyst for change and growth at BrightStar, overseeing everything from finances to overall operations. Thanks to her strategic leadership and unwavering commitment, the credit union recently surpassed the $1 billion asset milestone, reflecting sustained growth, strong financial performance and the trust of its expanding membership. Murnane sits on the Board of the Broward College Foundation. She was named one of South Florida Business Journal’s Influential Business Women of 2024 and CEO Magazine’s Women of Influence in 2026.
