Island SPACE Rum Cake & Caribbean Black Cake Festival

Taste your way around the Caribbean, one cake at a time!

The fifth annual Rum Cake & Caribbean Black Cake Festival brings together Caribbean holiday baking traditions, culinary entrepreneurs, cultural entertainment and holiday shopping for a family-friendly indoor celebration presented by Island SPACE Caribbean Museum and Caribbean Professionals Network.

Explore the Hall of Bakers, where guests can sample Caribbean rum cakes, black cakes and holiday drinks representing more than 20 countries and territories. Meet the bakers behind these holiday specialties, discover regional flavors and family recipes, and purchase cakes for holiday entertaining and gifting.

The festival also features traditional Jamaican Jonkonnu, Bahamian Junkanoo, Latin-style holiday dance and French Caribbean Fanal and Festival of Lights traditions. Enjoy music by DJ Bigg G, family-friendly crafts, trivia and giveaways hosted by Raul Blaze.
