Caroline Saiz Joins Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman

Caroline Saiz recently joined Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman as an associate in the Firm’s Labor & Employment Division. Her practice will focus on representing management in municipal government agencies.

Before joining the South Florida firm, Saiz served as staff counsel at the largest police union in Florida for ten years, providing her with in-depth knowledge of the intricacies of labor law in the public sector. In her new role, she will represent employees in all aspects of arbitration hearings, disciplinary appeals, collective bargaining grievances, and administrative investigations.

In addition to her labor law experience, she has practiced dependency law. Prior to law school, Saiz utilized her management and marketing degrees in the business field. Saiz graduated from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was inducted into the Society of Bar. She is passionate about animal welfare and helped co-found and serves as the vice-president for a local 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization.
