Director of STREAM and Silver Knight Coordinator, Cardinal Gibbons High School
Dr. Jane Spanich is the Director of STREAM at Cardinal Gibbons High School where she leads interdisciplinary programs integrating science, technology, religion, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Also serving as Robotics Coach and leading the Career Pathways Program, which includes EMT, Allied Health Sciences, Engineering, Business, Digital Video Technology, and Computer Science with AI.
Jane attended St. Anthony’s Catholic School and remains an active parish member and Eucharistic Minister. Dr. Spanich holds a B.A. in International Affairs from FSU, a M.A. in Liberal Arts from Rollins College, and a Ph.D. in Practical Theology from Saint Thomas University.
She has guided students at St. Thomas Aquinas and Cardinal Gibbons Schools to a record number of Silver Knight Awards and Honorable Mentions. Recognized as a “Top 10 STEM Director of 2024” and an Influential Woman in education, she is also a published scholar with over 15 academic works exploring AI, ethics, and theology.
