Help Islamorada give 25 wounded and disabled U.S. military veterans a welcome they wont forget.
Join Fish With A Hero, Bastion Fiduciary, local first responders, businesses, residents and visitors on Tuesday, September 15, for a free community event honoring the men and women who have sacrificed so much in service to our country.
The evening begins at 6:00 p.m. at Worldwide Sportsman, where the community will gather alongside the Islamorada Fire Department and Monroe County Sheriffs Office to welcome the veterans as they arrive in the Florida Keys.
Then, continue the celebration at Islamorada Fish Company for the Heroes Welcome and Reception, hosted by Bastion Fiduciary, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. This free public reception is a chance to meet the participating veterans, share a meal, connect with the community and help show these American heroes just how much their service and sacrifice are appreciated.
The reception kicks off Fish With A Heros 12th Annual Islamorada Event, a four-day experience featuring therapeutic fishing, veteran-to-veteran camaraderie and meaningful time together in the Florida Keys.
Admission is free. Come out, bring your family and friends, and help us give these heroes the kind of welcome only Islamorada can deliver.
