Owner and Photographer, Sports and Media Nation

Lauren Sopourn is the founder of Sports & Media Nation, a women-led sports media company specializing in visual storytelling for professional sports organizations.

She has built a strong presence across the region, working with the Miami Dolphins and the Florida Panthers documenting defining moments in South Florida sports. Her imagery shapes brand identity and fan engagement appearing in campaigns, publications, billboards, and large-scale installations. Her portfolio extends beyond game coverage to include media days, corporate partnerships, and major events.

She mentors emerging female photographers pursuing sports media, sharing practical insight and preparing them for the demands of professional sports while creating opportunities for women in a field where they are underrepresented.

She is a 2025 Broward Cultural Division grant recipient for The Home Team, a photography exhibition documenting the Florida Panthers’ Stanley Cup runs.

Her work has received national and international recognition including Pro Football Hall of Fame Photography Awards and World Sports Photography Awards.

She is the 2025 WISE Rising Star.
