“My journey began with humbled beginnings when I learned the value of servant leadership and community engagement. I first began this journey of servant leadership at a young age through my involvement in Toastmasters International when I was president of a local chapter. I also was trained by many great mentors, which started my foundation to not only build leadership and executive skills but how to lead and guide others. The journey was not always easy at times. Like many executives, I stumbled but learned from my experiences. What truly helped me lead and inspire was perseverance, mapping out a vision, and aligning myself around great people who also had the same vision. This has allowed me to be a better leader, inspire my teams, and allow others to recognize their true potential and not to settle for anything less than perfection.”
