“I’ve always wanted to be a lawyer. Since I was a kid, I was always interested in the interpretation of rules. I didn’t necessarily like breaking the rules, but rather enjoyed making the rules apply the way I wanted them to, such as carefully analyzing whether my mom’s legislative intent was for me to pick up my room by actually lifting it up off of the ground. I may not have had a J.D. at the time, but I was practicing law prose long before I took the LSAT or the Bar. The last 11 years as an attorney have allowed me to do what I’ve always loved for the benefit of others, rather than just myself. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed advocating on behalf of victims of crime in my time as a prosecutor and now equally enjoy private practice, where I represent corporate clients in their complex commercial disputes.”
