2022 Legal Awards Honoree: Jennifer Olmedo-Rodriguez

Jennifer Olmedo-Rodriguez is head of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney’s Miami office and a shareholder in the firm’s Litigation section. Her practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, class action defense litigation and civil appellate litigation. Since taking over as head of the Miami office in 2018, the office has become one of Buchanan’s fastest-growing markets. Olmedo-Rodriguez is a fierce advocate for promoting women and minorities within the firm and beyond. She serves on the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Council and is actively involved with organizations like the Cuban American Bar Association and the Corporate Council Committee of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers-Miami Dade Chapter. She has received numerous awards and recognitions both nationally and in South Florida. Her latest achievements include being named a Prestigious Women Award honoree by South Florida Business & Wealth, receiving the South Florida Legal Award presented by the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and being named to Florida Trend’s Legal Elite. She has achieved an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has received consistent rankings from Florida Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation.
