Cari R. Shapiro is a partner in the Class Action and Mass Litigation practice group in the Miami Office of Shutts & Bowen LLP. She currently focuses her practice on insurance defense and represents her clients in all aspects of litigation. Shapiro is a Miami native with strong ties to the South Florida community. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her law degree from Nova Southeastern University. She has been an active member of the United Way of Miami-Dade Young Leaders program since 2018.Â

My biggest accomplishment this year was being promoted to contract partner at my law firm during my first year of eligibility.

In five years, I hope to be an equity partner at Shutts & Bowen LLP and hold various higher leadership roles in both the firm and the community.
