28th Annual Miami Make-A-Wish Ball Attracts A-List Celebrities

Former Miami Heat player and Basketball Hall of Famer Alonzo Mourning was among the nearly 1,000 guests.

At the 28th Annual InterContinental® Miami Make-A-Wish® Ball, global superstar Sting was instrumental in raising over $5 million for the charity. The singer performed a medley of his chart-topping hits, including “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic” and “Message in a Bottle,” and concluded the night with a spectacular rendition of the timeless classic “Every Breath You Take.” The intimate crowd of 900 was treated to over an hour of Sting’s music, during which he dedicated his performance to the children in need. By supporting Make-A-Wish, Sting’s performance helped highlight the organization’s commendable work worldwide.

The star-studded drink of the evening had celebrities “buzzing” at the 28th Annual InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball. La Adelita Tequila was the premium drink savored by Karolína Kurková, Fat Joe, Naeem Khan, Alonzo Mourning, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, and Jamal and Bailey Mashburn.
