Experience Upscale Brunch Dining at Loews Coral Gables

Americana Kitchen also offers elegant lunch and dinner options.

Nestled downstairs past the elegant lobby of the Loews Coral Gables, Americana Kitchen is a restaurant that not only offers elegant and refined lunch and dinner options. They also offer an upscale brunch meant for those who want a unique menu filled with delicious specialties perfectly prepped by expert chefs.

Known as a true Americana experience, Americana Kitchen is a place to socialize, relax and listen to a soothing singer walking around the restaurant and its tables as you dine and listen. Brunch can also be had at the bar, where you can opt for a Mimosa, Bellini, or Bloody Mary, with the restaurant offering an all-you-can-drink bottomless option, where you can mix and match between the three. If you wish to try one of them each. Or, if a signature cocktail is more your thing, make sure to try out the restaurant’s Cosmopolitan martini. The classic drink, for some reason, tastes better there than anywhere else as it is well-balanced, giving the familiar cocktail a professional spin.

Diners can also opt to sit outside in the restaurant’s courtyard, a breezy option to take in a day of great South Florida weather. The patio also boasts the restaurant’s signature royal blue seats and the restaurant’s elegance brings the dining experience to the next level. Those who attend this brunch will be feeling relaxed, as they take on the expansive menu.

Dining options at this brunch vary, giving those who attend a chance to pick and choose, and even share with a friend. The tower with chilled selected seafood, a Chef’s Choice offer, has fresh oysters, crab legs, ahi tuna, shrimp, and other favorites. This upscale starter is perfect for sharing and won’t leave diners feeling too full and ready for an option from the menu for brunch.

Then there’s the brunch menu, filled with Chef’s Choices sure to satisfy diners. Filled with classic and fusion dishes, I highly recommend the mouth-watering Chilaquiles. The roasted tomato salsa and guajillo-dusted tortillas with avocado, sour cream, red onions, and cilantro make for a hearty and unique dish. Then there is what was my favorite selection, a Brunch Signature item called the Cubano Hash. This dish is delicious and boasts a Latin flair in a

bowl filled with charred plantain, roasted onion, crispy potato, mojo aioli, cilantro and huevo frito (fried eggs.) I promise you; this is one dish you cannot miss!

You can also expect items such as the Avocado Toast and a Brunch Burger. Also, if you are feeling like a fun after-brunch drink, make sure to try their Espresso Martini. You won’t regret it!

At Loews Coral Gables, Americana Kitchen’s brunch will leave you relaxed, satisfied and happy, as well as full, after experiencing their perfectly prepared dishes and beautiful ambiance.

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico.
