Broward Partnership’s “Silver Soiree” Gala Celebrates 25 Years of Community Service

The event recognized the nonprofit’s focus on shelter support, healthcare, workforce development, and fostering hope, transforming over 34,000 lives since its inception.

Broward Partnership marked its 25th anniversary with the “Silver Soiree” Salute to Leadership event earlier this month at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Hollywood. The Silver Soiree was a remarkable evening celebrating joy, reflection, and appreciation for the combined efforts that have propelled Broward Partnership to become the most significant comprehensive homeless services provider in Broward County. The event also honored the agency’s founding board members and recognized Frances M. Esposito, the Chief Executive Officer of 25 years.

The fundraising event was hosted by Kristin Sanchez, NBC Miami Lifestyle and Entertainment host, to honor individuals who have played instrumental roles in driving positive change. Notable honorees included Florida Representative Chip LaMarca, Senator and Broward County Mayor Nan Rich, and Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, all of whom have demonstrated crucial leadership in addressing the pressing issue of affordable housing.

Recognition was given to three individuals who have faithfully served on the Broward Partnership Board of Directors since its establishment 25 years ago: Elliot Borkson, Claudette Bruck, and Rabbi Sheldon Harr. Their unwavering commitment and valuable contributions have played a pivotal role in molding the organization and furthering its mission. Additionally, the special acknowledgment was extended to founding board members Gale Butler, Samuel Morrison, Ali Waldman Bergeron, and advisor Ron Book.

The event wrapped up by highlighting Broward Partnership’s history and honoring the outgoing CEO, Frances M. Esposito, with a video tribute and award ceremony. Esposito, now the Chief Strategy Officer for Broward Partnership, expressed her gratitude for the recognition and reflected on the impactful years she spent dedicated to reducing homelessness in Broward County.
