Doral, FL— Alibzu University, known worldwide for its multicultural post-graduate higher education in psychology and other human services fields, will unveil a new graduate student center at its Doral campus in Miami-Dade on Tuesday, September 3rd from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
“When deciding whether to pursue a post-graduate degree, things like dissertations, doctoral projects and masters’ theses sound less daunting when students find out we’ve got plenty of help and tools to make sure they succeed,” Albizu President, Nelson Soto said.
The September 3rd ribbon-cutting will celebrate the addition of new facilities at the Doral campus, including a dedicated classroom, multi-purpose room, private study rooms, additional tutors, coaches and the popular “One-Button Studio,” which helps students produce professional-looking videos on their own.
The event, which takes place on the second floor of the Albizu Campus at 2173 N.W. 99th Ave., Doral, 33172, includes light refreshments and music.
Thanks to grants from Title V, both the existing Graduate Student Center and undergraduate Student Success Center now form part of the Student Success Complex, and offer on-line and in-person student assistance with research methodology, writing, study strategies and skills to enhance academic writing, test-taking and presentations.
