Ex mobster Chris Paciello, a former FBI informant who did time for felony murder, bought the property at 5645 N. Bay Road, which features five bedrooms and five bathrooms under more than 5,000 square feet. Paciello owned South Beach’s Club Liquid in the 1990s and opened Delano South Beach’s restaurant Bianca in 2012.
The seller was Zaki Amin, widower of celebrity hair stylist Oribe Canales. The New York Post reports that Douglas Elliman’s Laura Cresto and Bill Hernandez were the listing brokers.
The home was built in 1931 and features a stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings in the family room, a terrace in the master suite and an outdoor kitchen.
