United Way of Broward County Receives $250,000 From JM Family Enterprises, Inc

To help the United Way of Broward County continue providing support and services for residents in the community, the JM Family Enterprises, Inc. recently donated $250,000 to the nonprofit organization. The two organizations have partnered together for over 25 years, with the latest donation helping United Way’s MISSION UNITED veterans initiative and its 2021-2022 Chairman’s Circle membership.

“There are no words to express our gratitude to everyone at JM Family including President and CEO, Brent Burns and Chairman, Colin Brown for re-committing to be a Chairman’s Circle Partner,” says Kathleen Cannon, presidents and CEO of United Way of Broward County. “Our programs, such as MISSION UNITED, are successful because we have your support. Thank you for creating long-lasting positive impact in Broward County.”

Along with the financial contributions, the JM Family also organizes an annual workplace campaign that helps more than 600 associates receive critical programming from the United Way of Broward County. The programs support the organization’s ability to provide health, education, and financial assistance for vulnerable residents in Broward.

“JM Family is honored to be a long-time supporter of United Way of Broward County and MISSION UNITED. We are very appreciative of the work these organizations do to address challenges facing our most vulnerable populations, including our veterans who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms,” Burns says.
