Legal Aid Service of Broward County (LAS) and Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA) recently held their Annual Recognition Awards ceremonies to honor legal professionals who ensure access to justice for vulnerable community members. The awards were presented to each honoree during virtual events through the organization’s Facebook pages at Facebook.com/CoastToCoastLegalAid and Facebook.com/LegalAidBroward. CCLA and LAS hold their recognition ceremonies during the nationally observed Law Week, which starts on May 1 annually, to promote a better understanding of the law and its role in society.

Commitment to Justice Award – Kathleen Pugh, Esq.

Jacquelyn and Bruce Rogow Employee of the Year – Laurie Yadoff, Esq.
During the ceremonies, legal professionals, community leaders and friends/families watched each honoree receive their award and make brief remarks.
