EggBar Is Coming to New Hotel Residence in West Palm Beach

After AKA West Palm opens on Dec. 1 in downtown West Palm Beach, the five-story property featuring 215 brand-new hotel residences will soon welcome EggBar as part of its commercial space. The new property will be the luxury hospitality brand’s second South Florida property, and each home features full kitchens, washers and dryers, and terraces in its rooms. The property will also offer a lounge, bar, pool, gym, conference rooms and a pet spa. Along with EggBar in 2023, the site will be home to the new location of The Blind Monk.

Located at 695 South Olive Ave. in the heart of West Palm Beach’s central business district, the five-story property will combine a private residence’s ambiance with a luxury hotel’s indulgent services. It will feature a state-of-the-art Technogym, an executive conference room and smaller conference nooks. AKA West Palm offers views of the Intracoastal and nearby beach access. To cater to business travelers, AKA West Palm also features a private and convenient conference space available to book for executive meetings, with seating for up to 10 people.

“With an influx of visitors from the Northeast, we are already seeing interest from travelers familiar with the AKA brand and our properties in New York City, Philadelphia, and Boston,” Larry Korman says, CEO of AKA. “As West Palm’s reputation as ‘the Wall Street of the South’ develops, we are confident that those who are traveling for work will be delighted to make a home away from home at AKA.”

Jaime Sturgis, CEO of Native Realty Co., along with Sales Director Kaley Tuning and Senior Associate Sara Dorfman, represented AKA Hotel in a lease with EggBar. Native oversees retail and restaurant leasing at the AKA Hotel. EggBar, led by entrepreneur and business coach Roy Assad, will occupy a 1,800-square-foot space on the hotel’s ground floor. When it opens next year, EggBar plans to offer a full breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner menu with a robust wine selection. It operates with the mission to “elevate the egg.”
