Habitat for Humanity of Broward has appointed a new board member, Carlos Iafigliola. “We are ecstatic to have Carlos join the board,” says Nancy Robin, Habitat Broward CEO and executive director. “He brings invaluable expertise to our diligent board, working to provide affordable workforce housing in Broward County.” Iafigliola serves as senior executive vice president, chief operating officer at Amerant Bank, the largest community bank headquartered in Florida. He is responsible for Amerant’s loan and deposit operations, project management, technology services, procurement, facilities, strategy and digital. “I am honored to be appointed to Habitat Broward’s Board of Directors,” says Iafigliola, “and I look forward to collaborating with other board members to help drive positive change in the Broward County community.”
