Amalfi Llama Offers a Unique Blend of Exquisite Cuisine in Aventura

The restaurant features an open parrilla grill and a wood-burning oven.

There’s nothing that I love more than discovering a restaurant that offers amazing and diverse food options and the type of environment where you can lose yourself. This type of place is one that you not only feel at home but also truly special thanks to impeccable service and a menu of items meant to be savored and enjoyed. This is why I was thrilled to discover The Amalfi Llama in Aventura. A new gem that’s meant to be discovered, it was an honor to be able to experience and to fully enjoy it.

The restaurant, which has its first location in San Diego, California, has arrived in South Florida and is ready to entice those curious about a different dining experience.

Also, I recommend you take the time to visit for an unforgettable dining experience. It’s perfect for any special occasion or for treating yourself to a nice meal on a tough day. Hey, we all need a little sunshine, and a nice meal can do wonders for the soul!

As you walk into the restaurant, you’ll be truly impressed with the décor, one that will surround you in luxury as you dine.

A gorgeous space decorated with Latin American and Mediterranean influences will greet you. You’ll love the light wood details and the natural light that won’t overwhelm you when you visit, adding to the cozy environment. It makes the steakhouse the type of restaurant that’s not afraid to please in all aspects of the experience.

Before we get to the food, we must add that the restaurant ownerJavier Banchero, is a force to be reckoned with. The right-hand man of Argentine soccer star Lionel Messi navigates the restaurant with care and greets guests and the staff in an energetic and pleasurable manner.

When we spoke to Banchero, we had the chance to try the restaurant’s Miami Spice menu. While the yearly dining event might be over, all the items on the menu are available at the restaurant daily, and he was proud to mention that the recipes in each dish come from original family recipes. And a few even come from Messi’s family recipes. Trust us when we say that you can spot the difference when it comes to the flavor, and you can sense that these dishes come from a homemade background.

Amalfi Llama Aventura

The journey at the restaurant is not only from one region but many. There are options, all freshly and carefully made, to please everyone who steps inside to dine.

The food options range from Southern Patagonia to the Mediterranean coast of Italy and, of course, Latin America. While there, we had a chance to try fresh empanadas, a deliciously cut steak, and hand-crafted cocktails. Everything we tried had a distinct flavor, and the knowledgeable server was happy to recommend beverages to enjoy before and after dinner, including wine from their extensive list.

The Amalfi Llama is a restaurant with an open parrilla grill and a wood-burning oven, harnessing fire, smoke, coals, and embers to make the dishes’ flavors stand out even more. With dishes from coastal areas such as Southern Patagonia to the Mediterranean coast of Italy, this is a restaurant that’s not only a place to dine, but it’s a place meant to be experienced and truly enjoyed.

So, take your time when you’re there. There’s no need to rush at The Amalfi Llama.
