Amerant Bank’s Chairman and CEO, Jerry Plush, Joins Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida Board of Directors

The move continues the bank’s expansion into the South Florida community.

Jerry Plush, the Chairman and CEO of Amerant Bank, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of South Florida. Plush joins a distinguished group of leaders from various industries and is expected to bring a wealth of experience and a demonstrated commitment to community engagement to the RMHC Board.

“I am honored to join the Board of Directors at Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida,” Plush says. “Joining this board offers a unique opportunity for me personally and for our Amerant team members to continue giving back to our local community while touching lives in profound ways. Throughout his tenure at Amerant Bank, Jerry Plush has played an instrumental role in driving the institution’s remarkable achievements and community initiatives. Under his leadership, Amerant has experienced significant growth and expanded its banking capabilities. Most recently, the bank has opened new branch locations in Tampa and Broward County. It has also recently formed strategic partnerships with the Miami Heat, the Florida Panthers, and the Miami Marlins.
