An Easy Way to Nominate Someone For Entrepreneur Of The Year

If you know of someone that should be nominated for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year, today (March 11) is the deadline.

While you might think the nomination process is complicated, under one option all you have to do is submit the nominee’s contact information. Go to this page to find out more information and the application link: https://goo.gl/cmJ8NP.There’s also an option to provide more detailed information.

Three of the nine judges for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in Florida are from South Florida. They are:

  • Susan Amat PhD, founder of Venture Hive in Miami
  • Mark Volchek, director and co-founder of Higher One Holdings Inc. and the founder of Las Olas Venture Capital in Fort Lauderdale
  • Naomi Whittel, CEO and founder of Reserveage Organics in Boca Raton

“The independent judging panel of accomplished individuals is what makes this award one of the most prestigious awards in business,” says Greg Rosica, EY’s Florida program partner.

South Florida finalists will be recognized at a May 25 reception and the statewide award recipients will be revealed on June 9 in Tampa. This is the 30th year of the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
