Arminda “Mindy” Figueroa is a multifaceted entrepreneur, a highly sought-after communications professional and a true maverick. She has successfully created and executed hundreds of complex and innovative strategic plans for entrepreneurs, corporations, and organizations of all sizes. Figueroa is widely respected for her knowledge and expertise in the areas of Hispanic/Multiculturism Marketing, Diversity and Inclusion, Entrepreneurism, and Healthcare. Her reputation within the business community is that of a leading thought provocateur and masterful connector. Figueroa is the Founder and CEO of the multiple award-winning consulting firm, Latin2Latin Marketing (L2L). There she combines her unique approach, and proven tactics, to develop campaigns that accelerate her clients’ market share. Figueroa’s unique ability to see what others cannot allow her to anticipate the market and activate plans that meet, and exceed, the issue(s) at hand. Figueroa has written or co-authored several articles related to healthcare, patient education, and other topics relevant to multicultural marketing and communications. Her opinions have appeared in Portada and Huffington Post Latino Voices, to name just a few. Figueroa is a frequent guest expert on Bloomberg affiliate 880 Radio and on Univision’s Radio Mambi. Figueroa’s civic duties are numerous and focus largely on Puerto Rico and social issues of concern to her. Figueroa served as an advisor to Florida Governor Rick Scott in 2017. Her opinions influenced the policy that guided South Florida’s official Hurricane Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico. Figueroa is also the proud founder of the philanthropic grassroots organization Adopt a Puerto Rican Family. She is also actively engaged with third-party organizations that bring investors in healthcare and new technologies to the island nation. Figueroa was recently selected by South Florida Business and Wealth Magazine as one of their 2021 Prestigious Women Awards winners and by Lifestyle Media Group as Who’s Who Women of Influence. In 2019, she was selected as one of the 50 FACES of Gold Coast Magazine for her work in Latin marketing. Previously, she received the 2018 Diversity in Business Award from the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. The South Florida Business Journal recognized Figueroa as one of the top “Influential Businesswomen of 2017.” She received the Golden Mouse Award for Multicultural Marketing Leader of the Year from New York’s oldest Hispanic newspaper in the country, El Diario/La Prensa, who also recognized her as one of their “50 Most Influential Latinas.” Figueroa was born and raised in Puerto Rico. For 18 years, she lived in New York, New York, prior to relocating to Fort Lauderdale. Today, she divides her time between her homes in South Florida and Puerto Rico.
