Broward Education Foundation Partners With Office Depot to Support Students
Wilton Manors Elementary learners received 1,000 supply-filled backpacks
To ensure students at Wilton Manors Elementary IB World School could begin the new school year with the supplies needed to succeed, Office Depot partnered with the Broward Education Foundation to distribute 1,000 new backpacks. Each bag contained notebooks, composition books, notecards, highlighters, pens, pencils, glue sticks and a $20 gift card to Office Depot/OfficeMax.
“We are so thankful for the continued generous support and the amazing partnership we’ve forged with Office Depot,” says Shea Ciriago, executive director of Broward Education Foundation. “It’s an honor to be able to provide students throughout Broward County with the educational supplies and learning tools necessary to help them learn and thrive.”
In addition to the donations, Marie Naizen received the “All-Star Teacher” distinction for her teaching efforts at the school. She received nearly $2,000 worth of premium school supplies and office furniture, courtesy of Office Depot’s annual Start Proud! Program.
