The 5,320 square-foot jewel at 1638 River Lane is designed by Miami-based architecture firm Choeff Levy Fischman and features five bedrooms and 4.5 baths, a theater, a pool, a three-car garage and 220 ft of deep dockage.

“Gio was inspired by the home we designed in Miami for another professional athlete, Alex Rodriguez, which is also a one-story, mid-century modern home with a pod design concept,” said Paul Fischman, principal at Choeff Levy Fischman known for their expertise in Tropical Modern architecture. “Though monochromatic, Gio’s home is on the water so we blended tropical notes from the outside into the interiors.”

The design of the one-story house is inspired by Palm Springs and incorporated South American Ipe wood, white Oak wood flooring throughout the rooms, and exotic stone in the bathrooms against exposed poured-in-place concrete and smooth stucco walls. The kitchen boasts modern matte gray acrylic cabinetry with quartz countertops and backsplash.

Nicole Holtzheuser of Florida Luxurious Properties holds the listing of the home in the Harbor Beach neighborhood.
