CitizenM Hotel in Miami Now Offers Night Swimming Experience

The hotel opened earlier this year.

The new rooftop bar and pool experience, Night Swim, is set to debut at citizenM Miami Worldcenter later this month. The hotel partnered with FREEHOLD Hospitality to create this unique concept that brings the trademark programming, energy and excitement of the global hotel and lifestyle brand to the heart of Downtown Miami. This collaboration marks a significant milestone as it is the first food and beverage partnership of its kind that citizenM has undertaken across its extensive portfolio of international hotels.

“We are incredibly excited about the launch of Night Swim at citizenM Miami Worldcenter,” Brice Jones says, Founder and CEO of FREEHOLD Hospitality. “Collaborating with the highly innovative, design-forward team at citizenM has been a dream come true, blending their keen design sensibilities with our hospitality expertise to bring this dynamic concept to life. It’s a remarkable hotel with unparalleled views that promises to be unlike any other hotel rooftop bar in the city.”

Night Swim is designed to cater to both Miami locals and guests of citizenM Miami Worldcenter. It offers a chic poolside ambiance that seamlessly transitions from day to night. Guests can enjoy daily happy hours from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., nighttime DJ performances, and weekday ‘Local Pool Pass’ promotions. These promotions cater to those who are working remotely or have a leisurely day off, making it the perfect destination for any occasion. The menu is creatively designed with shareable and inventive poolside cuisines. It’s complemented by a beverage selection that caters to every occasion, whether it’s daytime lounging by the pool or late-night revelry.

Night Swim is situated a few steps away from the Kaseya Center, which is the home of Miami Heat. It is an excellent spot for pre-game gatherings and post-event celebrations, with the stunning Miami skyline serving as a perfect backdrop. Ticket holders for Kaseya events, concerts, or games can receive a 25% discount on all food and beverage offerings at Night Swim, making it an all-inclusive destination for both relaxation and entertainment.

“We are thrilled to partner with FREEHOLD Hospitality at citizenM Miami Worldcenter,” Robin Chadha says, Chief Brand Officer of citizenM hotels. “When we opened this hotel, we set out to become a cultural hotspot, combining the very best of Miami. Night Swim does exactly that. The new rooftop bar will highlight panoramic views of the vibrant city and a buzzing atmosphere that travelers will surely not want to miss, while also showcasing citizenM’s signature ‘affordable luxury’ experience.”

Night Swim is located on the 11th-floor rooftop of citizenM Miami Worldcenter at 700 NE 2nd Ave. in Miami, Florida. Night Swim will be open from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. seven days a week. For more information visit nightswimrooftop.com

His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.
