CityPlace Doral Earns Three ICSC MAXI Awards

CityPlace DoralĀ earned three coveted and highly competitive MAXI awards from Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC) during the prestigious Global Awards Ceremony held during the ICSC 2022 Las Vegas conference last month. The MAXI Awards recognize innovative events, programs and technologies that add value to the marketplaces industry. Award categories are designed to recognize the industryā€™s evolution while rewarding creativity and innovation.

ā€œAs we celebrate our five-year anniversary, we are incredibly honored to be awarded one gold and two silver MAXI awards at the recent Global Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas,ā€ said Mauro Olivieri, general manager at CityPlace Doral. ā€œThese awards truly showcase the dedication, collaboration, execution and marketing that goes into activating our center. This wouldnā€™t be possible without my incredible team who shares my passion for excellence and delivering memorable experiences to our visitors.ā€

CityPlace Doral, a mixed-use development at 8300 NW 36th St. in Doral, earned a gold award in the experiential category for its work in devising unique activations for vacant spaces with its DORCAM Pop-Up exhibitions and fashion show, ā€œFashion Art Design.ā€ The shopping centerā€™s two silver awards were both in the revenue category. The ā€œSalud to Summerā€ entry showcased the unique way CityPlace Doral raised revenue for the center while enticing COVID-19-weary shoppers back to its retailers. It also received recognition for participating in Madison Marquetteā€™s ā€œPop-Up & Growā€ program, which was used to meet revenue forecasts that earned more than $1.2 million.
