Community Foundation of Broward, The Jewish Federation of Broward County, and United Way of Broward County are hosting the 23rd Annual Joint Tax & Estate Planning Seminar to provide in-depth best practices to local tax and estate professionals. The annual event will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at First Baptist Fort Lauderdale (301 E Broward Blvd, Fort Lauderdale) from 7:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
This year’s Joint Tax and Estate Planning Seminar will focus on “Estate Planning in a Post-Election Environment.” The program will cover the potential impacts of recent election outcomes on tax laws and estate planning strategies. Keeping with the tradition of cutting-edge presentations by nationally recognized speakers, a superior educational experience and prime networking opportunities, the event will provide insights into legislative changes and offer guidance on adapting estate plans to the evolving legal landscape.
This year’s featured guest speakers are George D. Karibjanian with Franklin Karibjanian & Law, PLLC, Robert K. Kirkland with Kirkland Woods & Martinsen LLP, and Jennifer Goode, Bernstein Private Wealth. Each speaker will present their insights on tax and estate planning, followed by an engaging panel discussion moderated by Tom Hudson, Senior Economics Editor at WLRN Public Media.
