A community hair braiding workshop celebrating the artistry, culture, and heritage behind braiding. This hands-on class explores both traditional and modern techniques, connecting beauty and culture through creative expression. About the Instructor The class will be led by Tarchandra, professional stylist and owner of Brag About Braids, a business known for its creative braid designs and dedication to inspiring confidence through beauty education. Tarchandra brings both skill and cultural insight to each session. About the Ali Cultural Arts Center The Ali Cultural Arts Center honors the legacy of Mr. and Mrs. Ali, who once owned a barbershop and cosmetology school in the same building. Their vision of creativity, entrepreneurship, and community continues today through programs that celebrate art, culture, and heritage.
