FINFROCK Concrete Manufacturing Facility in Palm Beach Reaches Construction Milestone

FINFROCK Concrete Manufacturing Facility, a 140,000 square-foot precast concrete manufacturing facility in Belle Glade, reached a significant milestone as it recently began vertically erecting. The project is expected to bring 200 jobs to the area and more than $242 million in economic stimulus. The new facility sits on the site of the former Glades Correctional Institution.

“This is an exciting milestone for FINFROCK because this new facility will help us to better serve clients in southeast and southwest Florida,” CEO Allen Finfrock says. “The best part of this project is that the employees that have joined us since we came into the Glades community have been working on making the pieces to build the building where they will build their careers with FINFROCK.”

FINFROCK designs all of its buildings out of resilient prestressed/precast concrete because it is aesthetically versatile, cost-effective, low maintenance and designed to last. As part of the first phase of the Belle Glade project, FINFROCK will construct two bays that are 120 feet wide and span 800 feet long. The project includes using 120-foot-wide “double T’s,” one of the largest ever manufactured in Florida.

“As with all of our buildings, they are built to last,” Finfrock says. “We are excited to be here, grow our business and provide more new career opportunities for residents as the new facility gets up and running.”

FINFROCK is an independently owned design builder with corporate offices in Central Florida and manufacturing facilities in South Florida.
