Florida Leads the Nation in Housing Price Hikes

Florida has seen the biggest increase in residential pricing of any state in the past year, rising almost 20% in the last 12 months, according to an analysis of Zillow data by Ruby Home Luxury Real Estate. (Forbes revealed similar findings in 2022.) Housing prices in Florida have risen 19.9% in the last year, the highest increase of any state. South Carolina and Vermont saw the second- and third-highest rise in house prices, respectively. The average home price in Florida currently stands at $404,939.
