Gynecology Surgeon Cathy Swain-Jones, MD, Joins Cleveland Clinic in Florida

Dr. Cathy Swain-Jones will bring over 25 years of experience in gynecology to Cleveland Clinic in Florida. Dr. Swain-Jones had previously worked to establish and advance care for women’s health issues at government and privately owned hospitals in the United Arab Emirates.

“Dr. Swain-Jones is a renowned expert in gynecology and urogynecology, and we are pleased that she has joined our team of talented physicians,” says Rodolfo J. Blandon, MD, MBA, President of Cleveland Clinic Weston hospital. “We look to Dr. Swain-Jones to continue healing and empowering women with her extensive knowledge and skill in gynecology.

Before joining Cleveland Clinic, she was a gynecologist and urogynecologist in Abu Dhabi at NMC Royal Women’s Hospital. She also worked in private practice in New Orleans for 19 years and earned her medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She is an active member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), a fellow American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG). She also serves as a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) and the European Society of Aesthetic Gynecology (ESAG).
