Indulge in a Royal Dining Experience at Sexy Fish Miami

When we think of brunch, we envision a leisurely meal with friends and loved ones. One where we can enjoy breakfast or lunch food while indulging in a few cocktails or nonstop bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Marys. It’s a great time, one full of affordable options, at times with DJs bringing some energy to the environment, and it simply becomes the perfect dining experience to enjoy on a Saturday or Sunday Funday.

Well, what if I told you there’s a chance for you to upgrade this experience? Maybe even with a dash of glamour? I had the chance to enjoy this with a friend on a recent Sunday at Sexy Fish and its new Sexy Brunch.

Did I leave feeling pampered and satisfied? The answer is yes, and there is so much more to the brunch than many would expect. But that’s not surprising, given the restaurant’s environment and gorgeous setting. You’ll truly feel like a King or Queen in your seat. Or shall we say, brunch throne?

As soon as you walk in you will sense that special and fancy dining experience awaits. And there’s a lot to choose from and enjoy.

The brunch began on Sunday, March 10, and is all about the culinary experience. Once you arrive, you can pick from different packages to enjoy bottomless specialty cocktails, champagne, wine, or non-alcoholic elixirs for those who prefer a lighter option. With prices ranging from $99 to $349, you get to pick what you want, making this a customized experience for every person who walks in that door. The includes starters, an elegant sushi and maki bar, a choice of entrée, and dessert.

We decided to try the experience that offers unlimited champagne, wine, and cocktails if you decide to mix and match your beverage choice. We recommend starting with one of their elegant drinks. Some recommendations are the refreshing Tequila Sling, featuring Mijenta Blanco Tequila, Pineapple, Cherry, Apricot, and Grand Marnier, making it a perfect sip for all senses. Then there was my ultimate favorite, the Sexy Fish Mai Tai featuring Peanut-oil-infused Brugal 1888 Rum, Herbal Liqueur, Banana, Lime, and Orgeat. The refreshing cocktail was well-balanced, giving those who decide to try it a bit of an upbeat tropical experience.

We began with a visit to the Sushi Station, where we could choose from an endless selection of maki, sashimi, and nigiri, including delicious salmon, tuna, and veggie rolls.

Selection of Makis

There are so many delicious brunch options, including starters. Some on the menu are the Smoked Salmon Bao and Chicken Gyoza.

The Gyoza did not disappoint. They were perfectly pan-fried and paired with a signature sauce with a hint of spice.

The spot’s main entrees include Baby Chicken and Yuzu, Caramelized Black Cod, Prime Skirt Steak, and Chimichurri. We recommend the Skirt Steak cooked at your preferred temperature. The sides are fantastic, with two of our favorites being the Grilled Sweet Potato and coconut Wasabi and Grilled Shishito Peppers, which paired well with our main courses.

Smoked Salmon Bao

The magical brunch gives visitors the ultimate ending, with a refreshing and sweet dessert tower, offering Donuts, Ice Cream, Mochis, and other sweets, like a rich chocolate cake and cheesecake with a raspberry sorbet. It’s the perfectly sweet way to finish an unforgettable brunch at Sexy Fish.
