Kaufman Rossin Group Rebrands to Celebrate 60th Anniversary

As the Kaufman Rossin Group embarks on its 60th year of providing financial services to clients, the company is launching a new branding campaign to highlight its long tenure and recent efforts to enhance customer service.

The firm updated its websites, logos, colors, messaging and overall brand identity to reflect the rebranding. The effort also recognizes its tremendous growth and history since its founding in 1962. The rebranding focuses on the firm’s new tagline: “joy is your bottom line,” which centers around one of its fundamental values: joy at work and carrying it forward to the joy the firm brings to its clients.

“Our client satisfaction rates are among the highest in the industry, which is a testament to our employees and their dedication to providing the best possible client service,” Blain Heckaman says, CEO of Kaufman Rossin. “Whether we’re helping a recent retiree plan for a financially secure future or advising a healthcare practice on how to get the most value from an acquisition, joy is at the heart of everything we do.”

The new joy-centric brand is a salute to the organization’s founders, Jim Kaufman and Jay Rossin. When starting their CPA firm, the duo wanted to create a workplace they could enjoy daily. Since then, “joy at work” has been interwoven into the firm’s award-winning culture. Employees cite the firm’s people-first approach as the reason for their satisfaction with the company. Clients also experience joy accessing the firm’s service, while its employees help spread joy throughout South Florida by fostering important causes and supporting nonprofit organizations.

“‘Joy’ is not usually associated with accounting and consulting,” Janet Altman says, marketing principal at Kaufman Rossin. “But after six decades of building a joyful, employee-driven culture and establishing ourselves as an industry leader providing best-in-class service, it is the word that gets to the core of what we do for our staff, clients and community every day. Joy is how we do business.”

After its founding as an accounting firm, The Kaufman Rossin Group has developed into a full-service brand now offering CPA and advisory services, wealth management, insurance solutions and fund administration through four entities:

·       Kaufman Rossin CPA + Advisors: one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S. and the largest independent accounting firm in Florida

·       Kaufman Rossin Wealth: a registered investment adviser

·       Kaufman Rossin Insurance Services: independent insurance advisors

·       Kaufman Rossin Alternative Investment Services: a full-service fund administrator

The organization’s new websites were crafted to provide an integrated, one-stop shop for the Kaufman Rossin Group. The centralized brand on each homepage features a top menu bar that allows visitors to find each of the firm’s services.

BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico.
