Kushner Companies plans developments in Florida

The Real Deal reports that Kushner Companies—founded by recently pardoned Charles Kushner, father to Ivanka Trump’s husband, Jared Kushner—is buying two development properties in Palm Beach: one near Delray and one near Lake Worth Beach.

The properties are owned by Morningstar Nursery. The Delray site, located north of Atlantic Avenue and west of the Turnpike, will see a 900,000-square-foot industrial development. For the Lake Worth site on the northeast corner of Hypoluxo Road and South Military Trail, the company is planning a development with 384 apartments and 60,000 square feet of retail.

Kushner apartment developments in Wynwood and Edgewater are expected to break ground this year, a few of about 3,000 units the company is plannings in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
