Notary Tops the List of Florida’s Dream Jobs 

Notary work surges in Florida as real estate dominates nationwide.

Real estate agents and notaries: These are the jobs that each US state dreams of doing in 2025. As part of their ‘dream jobs around the world’ study, global career expert Resume.io used search engine data to show the most popular dream jobs in each US state. In Florida, one role stood out as the most dreamed-of career. “How to become a notary” received almost 80,000 searches from the state in the last year alone. Looking at the states as a whole, real estate ranks as the No. 1 dream job, accruing 594,000 searches in the last year. Not only is real estate the most sought-after job category in the U.S, but it’s also the second most dreamed-of role. The average real estate agent in the U.S. earns approximately $150,000, although income varies depending on commission from selling more lucrative properties.
