Palm Beach to The Real Housewives of Miami: Not Today

The show was planning to shoot on Worth Avenue, but the city shut that pipe dream down.

Local businesses on Palm Beach’s tiny Worth Avenue had already agreed to participate in Season 6 of Peacock’s The Real Housewives of Miami—shops and restaurants had granted permission to shoot inside their doors—but the Town Council nixed the idea.

“Council members said they were concerned about safety, traffic and security issues that would arise from filming along Worth,” according to the Palm Beach Daily News. Even the small size of the crew failed to persuade the council.

“There’s no redeeming quality to this,” council member Bobbie Lindsay said last month of the Housewives’ proposed day trip. “Maybe five years ago, I would have felt different, but today I’m not comfortable with it.”
