Pharrell Williams and David Grutman’s new hotel promises a good time

Two entertainment moguls are uniting forces to open a new South Beach hotel that’s sure to become a hotspot for tourists and locals.
Grammy-winning singer and producer Pharrell Williams and well-known LIV nightclub founder David Grutman recently announced their partnership on the Goodtime Hotel, set to open in 2021. The pair are working with developer Eric Birnbaum of Dreamscape Companies, the lead developer for the square block site on Washington Avenue from Sixth Street to Seventh Street.
The Goodtime Hotel will include 266 guest rooms and promises a vibrant and energetic dining scene in the form of Strawberry Moon, a full-service restaurant, bar and pool club in an indoor/outdoor setting meant to facilitate good times from day to night. Ken Fulk, who worked with Grutman on his Swan restaurant, will design the hotel bringing life to its public spaces.
