Silver Airways is introducing daily non-stop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Pensacola International Airport (PNS).
Silver is kicking off service with fares from $89 for travel on or before May 22, but tickets have to be booked before February 28.
Silver recently launched new daily nonstop service between FLL and Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB), and unveiled its first themed aircraft – “Tortuga One” – as the official airline of the Minor League Baseball team Daytona Tortugas.
Silver has presented the Okaloosa County Aviation Board with its proposed plans to start daily nonstop service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) located at Eglin Air Force Base on May 17.
Silver operates a fleet of Saab 340 aircraft, and is renewing and expanding its fleet with up to 50 new eco-friendly ATR-600s. The airline said it will be the North American launch customer for the all new, redesigned ATR-600, which it says will offer best-in-class quiet cabins, premium leather seats with more legroom, and spacious overhead bins that accommodate full-size, carry-on roller bags.
Silver also said it is soon introducing new discounted fares for active-duty military on all flights.
Silver is owned by affiliates of Philadelphia-based investment firm Versa Capital Management, LLC.
