Upscale Dining Excels at Verde Restaurant in the Perez Art Museum

Tucked away in the museum, the restaurant offers a menu full of organic ingredients.

The Perez Art Museum Miami is a paradise for art enthusiasts. It offers a serene escape from the city’s hustle and bustle and showcases striking installations and stunning views of Biscayne Bay. Nestled within the museum is a hidden culinary gem where you can savor the flavors your taste buds long for in an upscale dining experience. The cuisine features organic ingredients, and the dishes are distinctive and delicious. Verde is truly a hidden gem that promises a delightful discovery with a stunning view.

Verde offers a laid-back atmosphere for a delightful dining experience. Whether you choose an outdoor table with a breathtaking view of the sparkling blue water and passing boats while soaking in the Miami sunshine or an indoor table in the cozy dining room, you’ll have the opportunity to relish the restaurant’s elegant ambiance and captivating views. The menu is impressive and extensive enough that you have choices, can mix and match or even share with a plus one.

Executive Chef Loris Navone of Constellation Culinary Group has prepared a menu full of small and large dishes, abundant salads, homemade pizza, sweet treats, and exclusive brunch specials. This means that no matter when you visit the restaurant, you’ll have the chance to have a different dining experience every single time.

We started the meal with their highly recommended spicy margarita when we visited. A balanced drink featuring the perfect blend of spicy, tangy and a bit sweet, with a spicy rim, it’s the perfect beverage to enjoy before your meal. The restaurant offers a selection of hand-crafted cocktails and wines that will pair perfectly with your food, so make sure to ask the knowledgeable staff for recommendations.

As for the food, prepare yourself to be floored by dishes such as small plates like fresh Zucchini Blossoms, featuring ricotta stuffed fried zucchini blossoms with spring vegetables, panko, marinara and roasted shallot dip; Memories of Ceviche, leche de tigre, cobia, drunken onion, corn, micro cilantro and green apple foam; and the Roasted Garlic Hummus. While there we also treated ourselves to one of the restaurant’s pizzas, as we decided to share food to try as much as we could from the delicious menu options.

Lastly, do not forget to have a little something sweet at the end of your dining experience. Yummy selections include a buttermilk panna cotta with mixed berries and citrus, strawberry consommé and praline, Cane Sugar Donuts, Warm Apple Tart, and Ice Cream in your choice of vanilla, chocolate, or cinnamon.

So, make sure to take the time to treat yourself at Verde. You will not regret the upscale and delicious experience that will surely satisfy your palate.
