Upscale Dining in South Beach: Winter Haven Hotel Miami Beach

Ocean Drive, a historic and vibrant street on South Beach, is one that truly comes alive during the day with revelers enjoying some fun in the sun. Yet while sunshine is a welcome asset to our city, South Beach has so much more to offer, with many new changes coming into the area and city. Within this street lies the Winter Haven Hotel Miami Beach, a property that is a part of the Autograph Collection of hotels, it’s a gorgeous property and one that brings comfort, luxury, and a significantly classy vibe to Ocean Drive.

For those who wish to enjoy the hotel’s amenities even more, we recommend a stop at the hotel’s Italian restaurant, Il Bolognese, with a menu full of comfort dishes and appetizers, as well as drinks. We had the chance to dig into the restaurant’s bruschetta and classic meatballs as appetizers. We were impressed with the cocktails, as we paired up our food with the restaurant’s classic mojito and tried out the mango mojito and sangria. Make sure to take a moment and try the restaurant’s food, and the drinks are the perfect classics that are perfectly refreshing for the beachy area. We recommend sitting outdoors on a nice day, a spot that’s perfect for people-watching and catching the ocean breeze.

Not only does the hotel offer beautifully renovated rooms with plenty of space to rest and relax for those who decide on treating themselves for a stay, but its location on the quiet corner of 1400 Ocean Drive, makes it the perfect Oasis. An Oasis that is the perfect quiet escape from the hustle and bustle right outside.

The hotel boasts a long history, with the property being a part of the historic district since 1939. Architect Albert Anis created the hotel with the Art Deco style in mind, which makes it a unique staple of the area that still shines today.
