While the restaurant’s location in South Beach fits plenty of interested diners, Abbalé Aventura is over double the size of its South Beach location, making it an energetic environment for those looking for an exciting experience with their meal.

The spot also comes even more to life when there’s live music, proving that everyone there is not only visiting for a meal but for an impeccable dining experience that is as unforgettable as it is delicious.

Looking for a little action, say on a weekend or for an after-work happy hour with colleagues and friends? The restaurant also offers musical entertainment that will be available on select evenings at the lounge, so make sure to keep an eye out for these dates and also for when the restaurant will offer special wine tastings, dinners and other events for those looking to learn more about their unique and delicious cuisine.

Abbalé Telavivian Kitchen in Aventura offers a full-service bar serving Mediterranean and Israeli wines, beers and specialty cocktails. Their sommelier, Orli Vadai, a known and respected wine expert at the restaurant and beyond, makes sure that the restaurant’s wine list introduces diners to rare Mediterranean wines from Israel, Lebanon, Macedonia, and other countries that might not be as known for their wine options.

When I visited, I had the chance to taste a few wonderful options and was pleasantly surprised with the flavors and how well the wines paired with different recommendations. I truly recommend this, especially if you are looking to have a little adventure when it comes to trying out different wines and leaving with new knowledge to share with others about what you experienced.

The environment at the restaurant includes a beautiful chef’s counter with an open kitchen, where you can watch in awe as the chefs prepare requested dishes. Abbalé Aventura also offers a private dining room for guests who wish to plan and host special events.

As for the food, expect diverse and flavorful dishes. The restaurant offers kosher-style dining and features a selection of new dishes at this location.

Once you arrive at Abbalé Telavivian Kitchen in Aventura, expect salads such as the Chopped Israeli Salad, Abbalé Herb Salad, and Roasted Beets & Avocado Salad; mezze offerings such as Pan Roasted Halloumi, Hamachi Crudo, and Caviar & Chips; sandwiches such as the Chicken Schnitzel and House Smoked Beef Pastrami; main dishes including the Pan Roasted Ora King Salmon, Salt Crusted Local Whole Red Snapper, Bone-In Prime Ribeye, and Prime Flat Iron Steak Shashlik; along with sides such as the Za’atar Hand-Cut Fries, Grilled Broccolini, and Roasted Maitake Mushroom. BIOGRAPHY

Drew Limsky joined Lifestyle Media Group in August 2020 as Editor-in-Chief of South Florida Business & Wealth. His first issue of SFBW, October 2020, heralded a reimagined structure, with new content categories and a slew of fresh visual themes. “As sort of a cross between Forbes and Robb Report, with a dash of GQ and Vogue,” Limsky says, “SFBW reflects South Florida’s increasingly sophisticated and dynamic business and cultural landscape.”

Limsky, an avid traveler, swimmer and film buff who holds a law degree and Ph.D. from New York University, likes to say, “I’m a doctor, but I can’t operate—except on your brand.” He wrote his dissertation on the nonfiction work of Joan Didion. Prior to that, Limsky received his B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from Emory University and earned his M.A. in literature at American University in connection with a Masters Scholar Award fellowship.

Limsky came to SFBW at the apex of a storied career in journalism and publishing that includes six previous lead editorial roles, including for some of the world’s best-known brands. He served as global editor-in-chief of Lexus magazine, founding editor-in-chief of custom lifestyle magazines for Cadillac and Holland America Line, and was the founding editor-in-chief of Modern Luxury Interiors South Florida. He also was the executive editor for B2B magazines for Acura and Honda Financial Services, and he served as travel editor for Conde Nast. Magazines under Limsky’s editorship have garnered more than 75 industry awards.

He has also written for many of the country’s top newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, USA Today, Worth, Robb Report, Afar, Time Out New York, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, Ritz-Carlton, Elite Traveler, Florida Design, Metropolis and Architectural Digest Mexico. His other clients have included Four Seasons, Acqualina Resort & Residences, Yahoo!, American Airlines, Wynn, Douglas Elliman and Corcoran. As an adjunct assistant professor, Limsky has taught journalism, film and creative writing at the City University of New York, Pace University, American University and other colleges.
